Fyllo Appoints Two Strategic Advisors and a New Board Member

Tony Weisman, Former CMO of Dunkin Brands, and Steve Katelman, a 24-year veteran of Omnicom, appointed as strategic advisors to drive product innovation

Craig Robinson, Former Global Head of Powered by We, a WeWork company, joins Fyllo’s board of directors

CHICAGO, September 14, 2020 — Fyllo, a leading innovator in data, media and compliance solutions for highly regulated industries, today announced that it has appointed Tony Weisman, former CMO at Dunkin Brands and CEO of Digitas, as Strategic Advisor along with Steve Katelman, the EVP, Global Digital Partnerships at Omnicom Media Group to drive product development and adoption in traditional verticals. In addition, Craig Robinson, a veteran in tech-enabled service delivery, will join the company’s board of directors. Each appointee joins Fyllo from sectors outside cannabis, a testimony to the widespread appeal of the industry and the unique opportunity to make an impact in this space.

The appointments follow the company’s announcement of major distribution partnerships with leading advertising networks Lotame and Eyeota to provide mainstream marketers with previously inaccessible cannabis audience data for campaign enrichment, ad targeting and analytics. Fyllo has amassed the industry’s largest database of cannabis consumer purchase and behavior data that enables new growth pathways for progressive brands, agencies and media companies.

Both Weisman and Katelman are advertising veterans and will drive Fyllo’s overall product offering for traditional verticals such as CPG, health and fitness and retail. Weisman was CMO of Dunkin’ Brands and spent 10 years as CEO, DigitasLBi North America. He was also CMO at DraftFCB. Katelman is the EVP Strategic Partnerships for Omnicom Media Group, with global responsibility for digital strategies and investment for OMG agencies (OMD, PHD, Hearts & Science, Annalect) and clients. He has been with Omnicom since 1996 and was instrumental in the launch of OMG’s trading desk.

He was Global Head of Powered by We for WeWork overseeing their portfolio of solutions including program and project management, design and build services, and facilities management. Prior to WeWork, Robinson served as CEO of Global Corporate Services at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF). In this role, he had responsibility for NGKF’s overall strategic direction for occupier clients, overseeing business development, client operations and platform investments.
