CHICAGO, IL (November 9, 2020) - Fyllo, a leading innovator in data, media and compliance solutions for highly regulated industries, today announced that Bryan Spears has joined the company as Sales Director, Entertainment.
In his new role, Spears will be responsible for accelerating the adoption of Fyllo’s cannabis and CBD audience data among media and entertainment brands. According to MRI-Simmons new 2020 study, about 1 in 5 adults in the US consume cannabis or CBD. These consumers exhibit high-value attitudes and behaviors for media and entertainment brands: they are more likely to stream movies to their phone, listen to podcasts, check app stores for what’s new and see movies on opening weekend.
Spears brings 20 years of experience building global brands at major lifestyle and live entertainment conglomerates. Most recently, he was Director of Marketing for Brand Partnerships for Caesars Entertainment where he played a central role in guiding the company in its pursuit to provide world-class hospitality experiences. His efforts resulted in multiple accolades, brand sponsorships, artist collaborations and record breaking profits. Spears was head of development and oversaw the 2004 launch of the Elizabeth Arden partnership with Britney Spears Fragrances.
His appointment adds deep, broad knowledge of branding opportunities within the entertainment landscape to the company’s leadership team. He will report to Jeff Ragovin, Fyllo’s Chief Commercial Officer.
